Jessica began work in the veterinary field as an after-hours emergency veterinary assistant in Colorado Springs, Colorado during college in 2006. She met Dr. B there in 2008 and the rest is history! After becoming a mom in 2010 and moving to Texas, she put her career on the sidelines and changed her role to preschool teacher so she could spend more time with her boys. She has since held a few technician jobs over the years at local veterinary hospitals in the Houston area and is beyond excited to take on her new role as practice manager with her husband, Dr. B. When she’s not working or chasing the kids, her hobbies include raising butterflies with the family, crochet projects, cycling, and volunteering at the boys' school. She is also a licensed real estate agent with Upside Real Estate. At night she can be found curled up under a blanket with the family cat, Jim Bean, who always makes sure she is up bright and early each morning to run the family business! Their family is complete with a chocolate lab named Dakota Rose and a hairless Chinese Crested named Boomer Rang that they adopted from Tender Loving Crested Rescue.
